www.checkhearing.nic.in, is one of the result of the information technology project initiatives taken by Ali Yavar Jung National Institute for the Hearing Handicapped,(AYJNIHH) Mumbai-50, with the aim of reaching out to all. The Principal Investigator of the project is Dr. Vijayalakshmi Basavaraj, Deputy Director (Tech) presently Director AIISH Mysore & the Co-Investigators are Mr. P.J. Mathew Martin, Extension Service Asst. (Mass media) OESD, Rajiv Jalvi, Reader & Head (Audiology.) of AYJNIHH.

It is not practical to take an on-line hearing test over the internet. But definitely one can know the hearing sensitivity through internet. We wish all the persons undergoing the test will be able to benefit from it.
